Equipment

We clean equipment in the locations agreed and itemised on the survey sheet to the predefined specification.


Northern Clean will dismantle equipment wherever agreed possible, descale, degrease and remove carbon, limescale and other deposits from interior and exterior surfaces where appropriate and clean the areas inaccessible to daily cleaners. We will then reassemble, test and leave all equipment in full working order.

Any equipment showing defects or faults of any kind such as broken knobs, hinges or defective burner elements will be brought to the attention of the client.

Structural Cleaning

Northern Clean wash all floors, walls and ceilings consistent with surface finish and to approved specification.

All deposits including grease and food debris will be removed using a suitable COSHH approved cleaning agent. Water jetters and steam cleaners may be used to assist the removal of deposit build up, particularly around the legs of units and the base of equipment.

We will clean underneath units where access allows. Our highly skilled teams will clean light fittings, wall or window mounted extraction fans and other fixtures to the surfaces as agreed.

Excess water will be removed by vacuum to ensure the floor is dry and safe, finished with a 'mop and polish' or if required a suitable finishing agent.

Insurance Certification
Cleanliness standards that we consistently achieve can be verified through wet film or deposit thickness testing. A certificate can therefore be issued, based on quality results which can be repeated and audited.

The certificate has real value and authority... to customers, their insurers and health & safety inspectors.

Service reports are provided to include comment on any other aspects of kitchen extract safety and operation. Photographs can be issued on request or stored for audit purposes.
